Ownership & Funding
Who owns WEBWIZARD 360
This site is published by a small independent company owned by the working editors who founded it. There is no parent media group, no outside controlling shareholder, no political party’s media arm, and no larger business with interests in the industries we cover sitting quietly behind the masthead. Nobody owns a share of this publication who is not part of doing the work.
The company is registered where its founders live and work, and it files what the law of that place requires. We do not publish the full registration particulars on this page, in part because that material gets scraped and reused in scams that impersonate legitimate outlets to our own readers. If you have a genuine reason to need them, such as serving a legal notice or verifying us for a transparency database, write to support@webwizard360.com and we will provide them.
Because the owners are the editors, no distant proprietor rings this desk to kill a story. It also means there is nowhere for us to hide. If this site publishes something indefensible, the people who own it published it, and they answer for it.
No government money, no party funding
We take no money from any government, ministry, department, agency or state body in exchange for coverage or a place on our pages. We have no affiliation with any political party, movement, campaign or candidate, and we accept nothing from political action committees, party media operations or organisations acting on their behalf.
Election and political advertising that hides who is paying for it is refused. If we ever run clearly political advertising, it will be labelled and the payer will be identifiable, because our readers are entitled to know who is trying to persuade them. We would rather take a revenue hit than let our advertising slots quietly become somebody’s undeclared campaign spend.
Where the money comes from
Advertising is our primary source of revenue and, at present, close to all of it. Most of that is programmatic display advertising, filled automatically through advertising exchanges, with a smaller amount sold directly. Occasional clearly labelled sponsored content and newsletter sponsorship make up the rest. The rules those sales run under, including the categories we refuse, are on our advertise page.
There is no paywall, no subscription and no reader payment of any kind. If we earn anything from affiliate links, those links are marked in the story and described here. We have no hidden licensing or syndication income of note. If any of this changes, this page changes with it before the money is spent, not quietly at the end of a financial year.
How advertising is kept away from the newsroom
Our team is small, so the separation between the money and the journalism is procedural rather than architectural. It holds because the rules are few and absolute. Advertiser identities are not circulated with the day’s story list. No advertiser is told in advance what we are about to publish. No advertiser sees a story before it goes live, and no story is shown to a buyer for comment as a courtesy.
When an advertiser asks for a story to be pulled or softened, the answer is no, and the request itself may become something we report. When a company that advertises with us becomes the subject of coverage, the story says so. On programmatic advertising we usually do not even know which company bought a given slot, which is inconvenient for selling and useful for everyone else. How we source and how right of reply works are set out in our editorial standards.
Grants, donations and reader support
At present we accept no grants, donations or reader contributions. If that ever changes, the terms are set in advance and are not negotiable. We would name the funder, describe the amount in a band that actually means something, state the purpose and duration, and say whether the funder had any say over what we cover. A grant conditioned on covering a particular subject, or on approval of our output, is not one we can accept.
Any funder providing a meaningful share of our annual income would be named here, in the open, rather than in a footnote nobody reads. The disclosure would go up when the agreement is signed, not when the money lands, because influence, where it exists at all, begins at the signature.
Conflicts of interest
The owners hold no stake in the companies on our beat and take no paid work from political parties, government bodies, public relations agencies or businesses we cover. Nobody here consults for an interested party in the morning and edits its coverage in the afternoon. Where an editor has a family or financial interest in a story, they declare it and hand the work to someone else, and that handover is recorded rather than settled in a corridor.
Gifts, hospitality and sponsored trips are declined where they could compromise our independence. Where any arrangement is ever accepted on terms we consider defensible, the story states who paid for what. The point is not to look pure. It is to make sure that what you read was decided on the merits and nothing else.
Keeping this page honest
If the ownership changes, if an investor appears, if we take a grant, or if a revenue stream grows into something that matters, this page is updated first, before any announcement elsewhere. Earlier versions are kept and sent on request. The wider account of who we are is on our about page, and any error on this page is fixed the same way we fix errors in our reporting, under our corrections policy.
If anything here reads as thin or evasive to you, say so. Write to support@webwizard360.com and ask the specific question. Transparency pages have a habit of ageing into wallpaper, and the surest way to keep this one honest is a reader who actually reads it.
