Terms of Service
The short version
These terms are the agreement between you and WEBWIZARD 360 when you use this site. By reading, sharing or otherwise using it, you accept them. We have kept the language as plain as a legal document allows, because terms nobody can read protect nobody. If a clause here matters to you and reads as vague, write to support@webwizard360.com and ask, and we will either explain it or improve it.
Two things sit outside this page and govern their own areas. How we handle data is in our privacy policy, and what runs in your browser is in our cookie policy. Where those pages and this one appear to overlap, the more specific page wins for its own subject.
Using the site
You may read our journalism, link to it, and share it in the ordinary ways the web allows. What you may not do is try to break the site or use it against other people. That means no attempts to breach security, no scraping at a scale that degrades the service for other readers, no automated harvesting of our content for republication or model training without permission, and no use of the site to distribute malware or to harass anyone.
We serve the site as it is and as it is available. We work hard to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of the occasional outage, especially during a major story when traffic spikes. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, and we are not obliged to keep any particular story, feature or archive available forever, though our strong default is to leave published journalism in place.
Our content and your use of it
The articles, headlines, photographs, graphics and layout on this site are owned by WEBWIZARD 360 or used by us under licence, and they are protected by copyright. You are welcome to quote a reasonable extract with clear attribution and, online, a link back to the original. You may not republish whole articles, build a competing feed out of our work, or present our reporting as your own.
If you want to license or syndicate our content, or if you are unsure whether your intended use is fair, ask first. Requests and questions about copyright, including takedown notices, are handled under our DMCA and copyright policy. Trademarks and the site name are ours and may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to something we are not.
Anything you send us
When you send us a tip, a message, a correction or a pitch, you keep ownership of it, but you give us permission to use it for journalistic purposes, including publishing what is newsworthy. You promise that what you send is yours to send and does not break the law or somebody else’s rights. Do not send us anything you are not free to share.
Confidential and source material is different and is treated with the care described on our contact page. If you mark a message CONFIDENTIAL and we agree to handle it that way, we protect it accordingly. We do not identify sources to anyone, and that protection is not something these terms weaken.
Third-party links and advertising
Our stories link out to other sites, and our pages carry advertising, much of it selected automatically through advertising exchanges. We do not control those destinations and we do not endorse them by linking or by carrying their advertisements. When you follow a link or click an advertisement you leave our site and enter someone else’s, governed by their terms and their privacy practices, not ours. What we will and will not accept from advertisers is set out on our advertise page.
If an advertisement on our site is misleading or a linked page turns out to be a scam, tell us. We cannot police the entire open advertising ecosystem in real time, but we act on what readers report, and repeated bad actors are blocked from our inventory where we can identify them.
No warranties, and the limits of our liability
Our journalism is provided for general information. We take real care to get it right, and where we get it wrong we correct it openly, but we do not warrant that every article is complete, current or free of error, and news by its nature changes after publication. Nothing on this site is professional advice, a point we make at more length in our disclaimer. You act on what you read at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent the law allows, WEBWIZARD 360 is not liable for any loss that follows from your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything you found on it, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer you keep the statutory rights your local law gives you, which these terms do not override.
Changes, governing law and how to reach us
We may update these terms as the site and the law change. When we do, the date below moves, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated version. If a change is significant we will try to flag it rather than let it pass silently.
These terms are governed by the law of the place where WEBWIZARD 360 is established, and disputes are subject to the courts there, without stripping you of any mandatory protection your home law provides. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Questions about these terms go to support@webwizard360.com.
